Web browsers

  • Those of you using Netscape on a Mac may have noticed a slight problem with crashing. This can be fixed with Netscape Defrost.
  • Netscape's release notes.
  • UdiWWW proudly claims this is a completely HTML 3.0 compatable browser.
  • NCSA's Mosaic 2.0.
  • InterCon makes a web browser that supports much HTML 3.0.
  • Java not the coffee, the language.

Plug-ins

  • Beatnik is hands-down the best MIDI plug around.

Web Editors

    Personally, I think these are just about useless. Learn how to code

  • Hotdog is a web editor by Sausage software. They are going to incorporate i-view into this.
  • Web Weaver comes highly recommended by a friend of mine.
  • I lied. I do use WebMap for Macintosh to create imagemaps. It plots the grid coordinates for you, just draw the circles and squares.
